It was the first time for me to take the First Aid course since over 20 years. The reason why I decided to partake in the first aid course was that it is a requirement as psychotherapist and provider of private health insurance.
Besides a lot of valuable knowledge I also learned how to give Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and how to use the Defibrillator. I realised how essential these new skills are and that everyone should do this course to support and save life’s. When the instructor mentioned that the CPR technique also applies to animals I got very excited as an animal communicator. I asked her if she would have further information on this topic, which on my request she provided me with a great resource that I am sharing with you now. I think that also as owners and friends of animals it is important to know how to save our loved ones shall they be humans or animals. I remember that on one morning when I woke up, my Labrador dog remained laying down on her bed which is not normal for her as she usually greets me as soon as I stand up. A bit later I went back into my bedroom to check up on her and she still did not move, she was unresponsive and looked unconscious. I took her straight away to the veterinarian doctor to safe her. If only I had known at that time how to provide a CPR to her I would have known how to react and saved valuable time. Please view the attached file that includes this vital information and share this widely so we can safe lives of our beloved animals. They deserve our support.
